Naturally I am NOT a morning person and over the years I have learnt that by having a super morning, I have naturally have a super day!

In an attempt to be superwoman I have forced myself to become a morning person!

I will leave my morning routine for another blog post… as that is a whole other talking point but here I wanted to share with you my number one breakfast smoothie that kick starts my morning and day.

‘You are what you eat’ … how annoying is this phrase but at the same time how true is it!!!

I am not a calorie counter and never intend to be but just try to listen to what my bodies needs through intuitive eating. This may sound a bit airy fairy but trust me…if you start to connect with your body, it will tell you what it needs.

I don’t follow any diets as such, I try to have life-style that incorporates wholesome nutritious foods that nourish my body.

I see it as looking after my bodies needs in the same way that my body looks after my needs…walking, running, swimming etc!

This is one of my favourite smoothies…I call it my power smoothie as it really makes me start the day strong!

1 organic frozen bannana
1 handful frozen blueberries
1 Tbsp organic cocoa powder
1 Tbsp organic hemp protein ]
1 cup rude health almond milk
1/2 cup rude health coconut milk

Whizz it all up in your bullet, ninja or vitamix and wholla!
